How to read this calendar
Federations do not coordinate launches. Nike teams cluster early; adidas teams cluster a month behind; everyone else lands in a final pre-tournament rush. The calendar below tracks what has actually shipped and at which retailers, not press-release dates that slip routinely. Updated weekly through July 2026.
Already launched (May 2026)

Late-launch federations (May to early June)
African and Asian qualifiers historically drop 30 to 45 days before the opening match. For 2026 that puts most launches in the May 1 to June 5 corridor. Two patterns to watch: (1) federations that publicly tease via the manufacturer's social channels usually ship within 14 days, and (2) the announce-to-shelf gap shortened materially this cycle — my read is the leagues learned from the 2022 stockouts and pulled forward retail allocations.
Player-name kits and the team-kit lag
Manufacturer-direct customization (Nike By You, adidas Customize) typically opens 24 to 72 hours after the team kit. Third-party retailers add the same options another 1 to 2 weeks later. For low-volume players (subs, reserves, federation-late call-ups), customization may never be offered at third-party retailers; you are stuck buying at the brand store or paying a printer to apply heat-transfer letters and numbers, which adds $25 to $40 and voids most retailer return policies.
Replicas vs. authentics: release-window difference
Stadium replicas (Nike Stadium, adidas Fan) launch first because that is where manufacturers make the bulk of their kit revenue. Authentic match jerseys (Nike Match Vapor, adidas Authentic) drop the same week or trail by 7 to 14 days; player-issue variants are a separate, federation-controlled supply chain and may never hit US retail at all.
